 Installation is easy.

1 - Simply remove all the screws on the back of the phone (6 of them, 2 at the top and 4 in battery compartment) with a Torx T6 screwdriver.

2 - Remove the entire circuit board from the faceplate by lifting it off.

3 - Transfer the speaker and microphone and the 3 rubber switches from the old faceplate to the new one.

4 - Attach the entire circuit board and the back part of the phone to the new faceplate.

5 - Replace all the screws using a T6 screwdriver.

6 - Check function by placing a call to determine if you can hear and the other person can hear you. This is important.  If you do not have the screws tight enough you may not be able to hear or hear the other person.

If you have had a Nokia phone before and removed screws please be aware that the screws for the Motorola V120 are more difficult to remove and replace.  They take more effort.  Be sure to apply correct pressure when unscrewing and replacing screws so not to strip out the screws or the T6 screwdriver.

Installation of Holograms

Holograms go directly on the LCD screen of your phone, not the faceplate.  Be sure that the LCD screen is clean of any dirt or dust.  Peel the hologram off the plastic and adhere to LCD screen.  Holograms are decals so they need to applied just like decals making sure that there are no bubbles.  This can be done by starting from the middle and gently applying to the outer edges.  Some phone LCD's may be very small and the hologram may need to be trimmed.

Installation of Faceplates for Nokia 6100

To install the faceplates for the 6100 series Nokia phone it is necessary to have a tool to undo the screws behind the battery. A T6 torx screwdriver works great and does not strip the screws. This tool is available on our website.
1 - Remove the four screws in back of the battery.
2- Remove the original housing carefully.
3- The 6100 series has a microphone that needs to be placed correctly.
4- If your phone has a silver/gold plate with dots it must be put on with the new faceplate to make your keys work.
5- Put the new faceplate on and replace the screws - do not over tighten.
